BWH has now increased the scope of its restoration following the very kind offer of the Herring family to let us have control of two further jetties to the east of the town. They include the Vanguard Jetty outside the newly opened Hello Sailor café. BWH have already worked on this jetty to place a fence and supporting wires, replace the steps down to the existing town pound to enable safer swimming  access. The wire, fittings and fencing was kindly donated by Proboat and fitted by Dave Nicholls.

In addition BWH have assumed control of Quay Cote jetty which is next to the White Harte. We hope to take down the temporary hoarding on Kings Wharf shortly.

During Burnham Week we hosted a visiting barge on Vanguard for the first time in 30 years.
