Burnham Wharf Heritage celebrated the completion of the restoration of Kings Wharf with a ceremony held on the Crouch riverfront and attended by some 60 guests including Cllr Ray Gooding, Trustee of Essex Heritage Trust and Chairman of Essex County Council and Charles Anderson, the Deputy Lieutenant of Essex.

The tape was cut by Charles, and both Charles and Cllr Gooding gave brief speeches thanking the volunteers for their hard work. A reception was held in the gardens courtesy of Kings Wharf Management.

BWH will now be turning their attention the wharves at Burnham Sailing Club and Tucker Browns.
