The hoisting  of the crane at Kings jetty was undertaken by the Burnham Wharf Heritage team on an early Saturday morning in May.

Under the supervision of the BWH  'Hoisting Master' Dave Nicholls of DRS Rigging, the spar rose into the blue skies of a perfect spring morning for the first time in about 50 years. A really wonderful moment for the team, seeing all their hard work come together.

The 10m crane once again now stands proudly aloft on the jetty that launched many boats from the iconic William King's boatyard.
